Rev Obinna Akukwe is asking all the Igbo leaders, elites, politicians and diasporas claiming that governors sabotaged IPOB and Eastern Security Network ESN , and rendered it ineffective in combating threats from Fulani Kidnappers rampaging Awgu, Nsukka, Okigwe, Orumba and other places to answer the follow questions.

 

Which ESN will combat the Fulani kidnappers, the one commanded by Chika Edozien or the one commanded by Simon Ekpa.

 

The Edozien led ESN had claimed that Double Lion and his ESN group at Ihiala were kidnappers and colluded with Soludo vigilante to kill them.

The Auto Pilot branch of IPOB has insisted that its decision on no election in Biafraland is final. This response has been communicated both orally by some of its agents, and by a series of tweets from its leader Simon Ekpa to IGBO Think Tank.

Igbo Think Tank had met with elements of IPOB who were in Abuja over Kanu’s deteriorating health and continued detention on the 29^th of September and discussed several things and the group through its Vice Chairman Board of Trustees, Rev Obinna Akukwe made it clear that disrupting 2023 elections in Igboland is not an option.

 

A press statement was made to that effect on the 29^th day of September, after the Igbo Day Celebrations, and a subsequent on October 3^rd warning IPOB not to disrupt the elections.

Igbo Think Tank Alerts on Possible Disruption of 2023 Polls in Igboland

 

Igbo Think Tank umbrella body of Igbo Professionals, intellectuals and clergy whose aim is to Turn Igboland into Japan of Africa, do hereby by this memo, alerts the Board of Trustees that there is likely going to be a partial disruption of presidential polls in the South East due to the irreconcilable differences between difference camps of secessionist agitations.

 Igbo Think Tank had earlier initiated engagements with elements of the two feuding camps of IPOB, the DoS and the Auto-Pilot in Abuja.

 Recall that the Vice Chairman BoT of ITT, Rev Obinna Akukwe and team of ITT Security and Intelligence Committee engaged elements of the two branches that were in Abuja over the continued detention of Nnamdi KANU and deteriorating health conditions. The IPOB faithful also met some Igbo leaders present during the Igbo Day Celebrations in Abuja.

 Igbo Think Tank engaged elements of two groups on the disruption of Polls in the South East on the 29th of September and issued press releases warning against any disruption of polls in the South East. ITT also promised to align with other peace building agencies viz Igbo Mandate Congress IMC, PANPIEC 2023 Presidency Strategy Team, General Assembly of all Igbo Christian Organizations and Ministers GAAICOM , Veteran Igbo Activists on Peace Mission VIAPM, to step up the political pressure for the release of Nnamdi KANU through the organic links of these bodies.

The Auto-Pilot Group through its leadership Mazi Simon Ekpa responded promptly on the 30th September to Igbo Think Tank Group, that ‘They will not allow elections in Biafraland’.

Nigerian Coalition of Pastors Condemns Endless Sit at Home

 

Speaking at the event, the Enugu State Coordinator of Nigerian Coalition of Pastors for Good Governance NCPGL, Rev Obinna Akukwe said that in the coming weeks it will set up a task force to persuade those behind the endless sit at home to give South East a breather.

The Nigerian Coalition of Pastors for Good Leadership has condemned the endless sit at home embarked upon by Igbos in the South East. They vowed to engage all relevant stakeholders to seek other means of engaging government in grievances without disrupting the system.

This was stated in Enugu on Sunday during the stakeholders parley between the Pastors and various Christian youth groups in New Haven.

Igbo Elites Attack Obiora Okonkwo For not Supporting Peter Obi.

Igbo elites in Nigeria and Diasporas have unleashed heavy criticisms on Obiora Okonkwo, a former PDP governorship aspirant in Anambra State for declaring open support for Atiu Abubakar instead of Peter Obi.

 

Obiora Okonkwo who lost the PDP governorship primaries in 2021 by four votes to Val Ozigbo, have been abused, insulted, debased and called all sorts of names for daring to openly canvass for Atik Abubakar as his preferred presidential candidate in the South East.

 

Since the plethora of abuses he got on hundreds of whatsappa and facebook platforms, many supporters of Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar have decided to keep their mouth shut, and do their worst few days to the elections.

 

Many prominent supporters of Atiku and Tinubu have told me that they will mobilize for their principals at the last moment because they are not ready to be hushed, abused, insulted and cursed for holding contrary political opinion.

 

Rev Obinna Akukwe is appalled at the level of abuse Igbo elites heaped on Obiora Okonkwo , a former governorship aspirant in PDP for not supporting Peter Obi.

 

Obiora Okonkwo is entitled to his opinion over PDP . This mob mentality has never taken Ndigbo anywhere. Afenifere have abandoned Tinubu for Peter Obi and the Yoruba elite is not crucifying them.

 

Some Muslim leaders have told me they will support Peter Obi and their fellow colleagues are not crucifying them for abandoning Tinubu or Atiku.

Boko Haram Attacks: Igbo Think Tank Warns Igbo in Abuja- Banex, EMAB, K- City Plaza, Glo Junction Businesses

The Security and Intelligence arm of Igbo Think Tank ITT have received security alert that politically sponsored Boko Haram terrorists are planning attacks on the Federal Capital Territory with the aim of destroying Igbo cache of businesses along Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse 2 and pitch Ndigbo at war with sections of the country.

 

The alert was part of the findings of ITT Security and Intelligence Committee presented to the Vice Chairman Board of Trustees of Igbo Think Tank ITT, Rev Obinna Akukwe in Abuja on Sunday during the Quarterly Review of State of Ndigbo with members of ITT Security and Intelligence Committee.

 

Rev Akukwe in response to the intelligence review, asked that security be beefed up along Aminu Kano Crescent from GLO Junction through Dreams Park to Dabras Hotel, K-City Plaza, Banex Plaza, EMAB Plaza, all through the Catholic Church to AP Filling Station, NUC Junction before Transcorp Hotel, which according to credible intelligence, is prime target for the terrorist attacks scheduled on or before November 10th.

 

Akukwe averred that "ITT will also hold security agencies responsible for incompetence if any attacks occur on aforementioned routes. Igbos should report any suspicious activities to relevant security agencies"

 

He said that any politically sponsored attack on Igbo businesses in Abuja will not be tolerated by Ndigbo and politicians who want to embarrass Buhari with terrorist attacks should leave Ndigbo out of their dirty games.

PANPIEC to meet Igbo Politicians on Nnamdi Kanu , 2023 Polls as Nzuko Ndigbo Mourns Anambra Flood Victim

 

The Pan Nigerian President of Igbo Extraction Coalition PANPIEC, the pioneer coalition of support groups that started the Pressure for power shift to Igboland in 2023 and many aggrieved Igbo politicians across political divide have scheduled an emergency meeting at Umuahia this weekend to discuss the political development in Nigeria and need for all Igbo Presidential candidates to agree on one person with large followership in Nigeria.

The Strategy Team will also discuss the implications of non-release of Nnamdi Kanu on the Igbo populace and offer the quickest solution out of the quagmire.

The Chairman of the PANPIEC 23 Presidency Strategic Committee, REV Obinna Akukwe stated this while addressing the media in Abuja on Friday. He said that the PANPIEC emergency session at Owerri on the 18^th was successful and the body will relay the findings to the public after its emergency Board of Trustees meetings in Abuja this weekend

He noted that Nigeria is now well disposed to a Pan Nigeria Igbo man succeeding President Buhari in 23 and there is the need for all the candidates of Igbo extraction to agree on one person.

He commended the Nigerians for their disposition to political justice and equity and lauded the DoS branch of IPOB for pledging not to disrupt elections in Igboland.

Crisis over non- release of Nnamdi Kanu -PANPIEC in emergency session

 

In furtherance of the mandate of PANPIEC to carry every Igbo along as regards Presidency 2023, irrespective of political party, we have discovered that many Igbo politicians in LP. PDP and APC do not want Nnamdi KANU released, especially after the assassination attempt at Senator Ifeanyi Uba.

Having interacted with over 200 influencers across party lines since the Court of Appeal Verdict including Obidients, Batists and Atikulated, it is shocking that eighty percent want him in detention till after the elections because they believe he will disrupt the process and the message have reached Aso Rock

Therefore, in urgent resolution of the aforementioned, PANPIEC 2023 Igbo Presidency Strategy Team will all assemble in Owerri Wednesday 18^thOCTOBER to deliberate on the ugly developments and implications for Igbo Presidency and take all appropriate actions in line with the mandate given us by Igbo leaders.

Igbo Think Tank Warns IPOB against disrupting 2023 Polls

 Igbo Think Tank ITT, a  coalition of Igbo veterans activists , professionals and opinion leaders  aimed at rapid industrialization of the South East into a Japanese model,  have warned members of  Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB against disrupting the 2023 presidential elections in the South East.

Igbo Think Tank gave the warning when some aggrieved members of the group who attended Igbo Day in Abuja, paid him a courtesy visit.

Some IPOB coordinators worried about the lingering political solution promised on the release of Nnamdi Kanu is taking long, and the deteriorating state of health of Nnamdi KANU, sought the assistance of Board of Igbo Think Tank on the impasse.

In his response, the Vice Chairman Board of Trustees of Igbo Think Tank, Rev Obinna Akukwe said that abuses, insults and bloody enforcement of  Monday Sit at Home is responsible for the failure of the political solution.
