Deposed Emir Sanusi banished to Loko/Awe to be attacked by bandits

Written by Obinna Akukwe

The deposed Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was sent to Loko in Nasarrawa State so they can kill him using the bandits and criminals that pervade the area. This was the situation before the traditional ruler of Loko town informed Emir Sanusi that there are major security concerns in the town and suggested that they move him to another place. This was before the decision to move him from Loko in Toto , Nasarrawa to Awe.

Loko is a town close to the boundary between Benue and Nasarrawa. It is some thirty minutes drive or less to Agatu inBenue State where the Fulani herdsmen and the villages had a bloody battle. While the Fulanis have taken by force the water valleys of Agatu, and across Nasarrawa, they have very little presence in Loko because the town is scorched, with mountains, rocks and little vegetation. Even Fulani herdsmen rejected Loko town for their cows. That was where the dollar stuffing criminals who deposed Sanusi wanted him to be sent to.

Loko town has no electricity. It has serious security concerns. It has a police station that has not up to twenty staff, from my estimate. I was in Agatu in Benue and Nasarrawa Toto last month on a fact finding mission to determine whether peace have actually returned to the place, little did I know that this scorched place will house a former CBN Governor, Former MD of First Bank and a former First Class Emir , because he became a traditional ruler in Nigeria.

The Fulani’s are not terrorizing Agatu, children are going to school, farmers are going to their farms but the Fulanis have colonized the water valleys with their pasture. Loko town in Toto has vigilante in every one kilometer of the major roads because criminals manifest from the rocks and attack travelers with AK-47. The town during my visits last month, has no electricity, but GSM and date network is available and clear. There is nothing attractive about the place.

It is with shock that I received the news that Governor Ganduje and the powers that deposed Sanusi wanted him to spend the rest of his life in a place like Toto. Their intention cannot be anything but to allow him to be killed there by the criminals ravaging the place and we will be told that Allah giveth and Allah taketh. These people want Sanusi to be attacked and killed there. Abaji in Kogi is more developed than Loko in Nasarrawa Toto.

I want to thank Sanusi who rejected the depravity of the place when he was taken there. The new town of Awe where he was taken is twice better that Loko, but it is still a village and has some less security concerns than the former.

I have always supported Sanusi right from his time as CBN Governor under Jonathan, when he was having running battles with all manners of people over his frankness and abrasiveness and anti-corruption moves. I have written many articles in his support and I am happy that Emir Sanusi has remained consistent in speaking against evil, against corruption and against mediocrity.

Presidency 2023: as Tinubu Decimates Orji Kalu, Okorocha, Akpabio, El-Rufai

Written by Obinna Akukwe

The strongman of Lagos State and National Leader of APC, Bola Tinubu has been strategically decimating all his potential political opponents, vis Orji Uzor Kalu, Rochas Okorocha, Godswill Akpabio and Nasir El’Rufai ahead of the 2023 presidency.
Image result for tinubu akpabio okorocha
Bola Tinubu is a man loathed by professionals and feared by politicians. He has held Lagos State in firm grip since 1999 till date and has installed whomsoever he wished as governor. Tinubu has equally extended his grips to states in the South West where most of the governors, either past or present, are his boys. Therefore, you can ignore Tinubu at your own peril.

Buhari’s emergence as President in 2015 and 2019 has Tinubu playing a major role in swaying South West votes to the Katsina born general. It took the blackmails of people like former Senate President Saraki and ex-Governor Rotimi Amechi to stop Bola Tinubu from being running mate to Buhari in 2015.

Emir Sanusi is Deposed, Sultan Sa’ad, Shehu El-Kanemi’s turn is loading

Written by Obinna Akukwe

The criminals that destroyed the north by deposing Emir Sanusi will soon turn their attention on Sultan Saad Abubakar of Sokoto and Shehu Abubakar El-Kanemi because they want to remove any voice of reason from the north , loot down the region and disappear into Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and US to enjoy their loots. The CUPP had last year raised alarm that there is a plan to depose Sultan of Sokoto and Emir of Kano for holding views contrary to that of the parties in power.

In December last year, I wrote a piece titled ‘Planned Deposition of Emir Sanusi; Foolishness of Northern Elites’ the next day, the Presidency set up a committee headed by Ex Maximum leader Abdulsalami Abubakar, Yakubu Gowon, Adamu Fika, Governor Fayemi among others to resolve the Ganduje, Sanusi feud.Image result for sanusi ganduje

In the second piece titled ‘Plot to Depose Sanusi; North Sheds Foolishness as Buhari,,Abdulsalami, Gowon Intervenes’ I posited that
“The worst humiliation to the Emirate stool is the new law that when an emir wants to travel out of the state, he sends letter to the local government chairman, instead of the governor. Thus Emir Sanusi will have to take permission from a houseboy local government chairman of Kano Metropolis before he can visit the Emir of Zazzau in Zaria.

Biafra War Aided Scripture Union, Pentecostal Revival in Igboland-Prof Peter Nwangwu

***Igbo Mandate Congress seeks repentance and new revival

The Nigerian Civil War also known as the Biafran War aided the establishment and spread of Scripture Union and Pentecostal Revival in Eastern Nigeria. This was disclosed by Professor Peter Nwangwu in a chat with Rev Dr Obinna Akukwe, Director General of Igbo Mandate Congress IMC in Abuja last week during a mini-conference on how to re-engineer the gospel revival in the South East, Nigeria as panacea to growing social, economic and physical insecurity in the zoneImage result for biafra war.

Prof Peter Nwangwu told Rev Obinna Akukwe that he came in contact with a British Missionary, Bill Roberts, the travelling Secretary of Scripture Union in the 60’ and when the war broke out; all schools were closed down by the Biafran Government to avoid casualties from bomber planes of the Nigerian Air Force. Bill Roberts refused to abandon his work in Nigeria for England, and elected to stay in Biafraland. Bill Roberts at a time felt led by God to start a bible teaching, food and games programme for the youth but did not know exactly how to start.

Igbo Mandate Congress Congratulates New Chief Imam of Owerri, Suleiman Njoku, asks him to stop Fulani-Farmers Crisis

Igbo Mandate Congress do hereby congratulates, Barrister Suleiman Njoku on his elevation as the new Chief Imam of Owerri and Grand Khadi Imo State following the death of his predecessor Alhaji Dauda Anozie Onyeagocha who passed away on the early hours of November 12th, 2019.

Igbo Mandate Congress attested that the late Chief Imam of Owerri Alhaji Dauda Alozie Onyeagocha from Amawom, Owerri area was a man of peace. The ousted Governor of Imo State Ndubuisi Ihedioha had attested and described him as a detribalized Nigerian, a bridge-builder, who contributed immensely to the peaceful co-existence of adherents of Islam and Christianity in the state in his condolence message.

Igbo Mandate Congress noted that the new Chief Imam, a native of Umuediabali Ihitteafoukwu, in Ahaizu Mbaise LGA was selected by Imo Muslims without rancor. Igbo Mandate Congress hopes the Chief Imam of Imo State will exhibit the fearlessness which the ousted Governor Ihedioha and Justice Mary Odili all from same Mbaise clan, had brought to public service as Speaker of NASS and Supreme Court Jurist respectively.

No Plan to Attack any Community in Anambra – Miyetti Allah Replies Igbo Mandate Congress

Feb 21, 2020

By Jude Atupulazi
The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders' Association, MACBAN, Southeast Zone, have debunked a report that the group is plotting a retaliatory attack on Ifite Ogwari Community following a skirmish that claimed the lives of four herders.
A group, Igbo Mandate Congress, had issued a statement which it copied to the Ohaneze Ndigbo, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria and Christian Association of Nigeria; as well as the diplomatic community, alleging that Miyetti Allah was planning a retaliatory attack in Ifite-Ogwari over the killing of some of its members.
The publication titled, “Fulani vs Anambrarian: Police Arrest Ifite-Ogwari Elders as Igbo Mandate Congress Seeks Justice”, had portrayed the Fulanis as a destructive and murderous group, causing harm to the people of Ifite-Ogwari and their farms. It accused Fulanis of responsibility, for about two weeks running, for the detention of some Ifite-Ogwari leaders by the Nigeria Police, insisting that such detention was consequent upon Miyetti Allah's insistence.
But reacting to this in a press statement, the chairman of MACBAN, Southeast, Alhaji Giddado Siddiki, described the statement by Igbo Mandate Congress as capable of turning Anambra State into a theatre of war.
Said he, 'It is as worrisome as their insinuation that ''the claim by Miyetti Allah leaders that they killed four herders is a subterfuge to attack the community''.’
In a press statement made available to Fides, Alhaji Gidado Siddiki, insisted that his group was all for peaceful coexistence with their hosts.

Igbo Mandate Congress have received intelligence reports from credible sources within Miyetti Alah that some Fulani herdsmen will attack Ifite-Owari and Anaku communities in Anambra State within the next three months in retaliation for the alleged murder of some herdsmen.
Two leaders of Miyetti Allah, who pleaded anonymity, told the Director General of Igbo Mandate Congress Reverend Obinna Akukwe in Awka over the weekend that the families of the four middle-aged men allegedly killed are seeking for revenge. They claimed that younger elements within Miyetti Allah are pushing for revenge. They gave the name of the youth leader seeking for bloody revenge to the leaders of Igbo Mandate Congress and asked them to initiate peaceful settlement before the executioner groups are called in from Bauchi.
They claimed that Anaku people have been beating up herdsmen, denying them water and safe passage and instigating nearby communities against them.. The aggrieved herdsmen believed that even Aguleri, Governor Obiano’s hometown gave them some land and wondered what is so special with Ifite-Ogwari and Anaku that they will not have peace.
The DG of Igbo Mandate Congress thanked the credible informants and promised to seek alternative peaceful conflict resolution.

The Nigerian Police is still detaining leaders of Ifite -Ogwari town in Ayamelun Council of Anambra State, two weeks after they were arrested after a meeting with Governor Obiano

The detained leaders include Chief Nwaora Ikeozalla (Deputy President General) and Chief Michael Akamala (Chief Security Officer) of Ifite-Ogwari, respectively. The traditional ruler of the town, HRM Dr A.I. Ofuebe was almost arrested with the other elders at the scene of the meeting with Governor Obiano. Since then, the detained community leaders have been dumped at cells meant for hardened criminals at the CID cell in Awka, Anambra StateImage result for ifite ogwari vs miyetti allah

A week after their detention, the leader of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria MACBAN, in the South East, Alhaji Gidado Siddiki alleged that youths of Ifite-Ogwari killed four herders and 108 cows between December 20 and January 27, 2020.

Igbo Mandate Congress, IMC, have been following up on the issue since the Miyetti Allah leaders raised alarm last week, at the behest of Igbo leaders, and have interacted with stakeholders in the community, state government, the police and members of the Fulani community. Igbo Mandate Congress has released its preliminary reports to Ohanaeze Ndigbo, PFN, CAN and members of the diplomatic community on the situation at Ifite-Ogwari capable of turning Anambra State into a theatre of war.

Plot to Depose Emir Sanusi: North Sheds Foolishness as Buhari, Abdulsalami , Gowon Intervenes

By Obinna Akukwe

Northern elites have finally woken up on Sunday, December 22nd with a frantic attempt to settle the feud and stop the plot to depose Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as Emir of Kano. I have written an angry piece on last week titled ‘Planned Deposition of Emir Sanusi and the Silence of Northern Fools’ where I posited that it is foolishness of the highest order for northern elites to be silent as Governor Ganduje destroys the symbol of northern unity and cohesion.

Information reaching me suggests that the plot to put together a high powered committee to address the issues came partly from the harsh tone of that piece which I sent to key northern leaders. A high powered delegation led by General Abdulsalami, with Gowon actig behind the scene, have been assembled by the presidency to unite the two fighting elephants of Sanusi and Ganduje and save the Kano Emirate from public ridicule and mockery.
Plot to Depose Emir Sanusi: North Sheds Foolishness as Buhari, Abdulsalami , Gowon Intervenes
Some editors have asked me to tone down the title of the piece, and remove the offensive word ‘fools’ and I have refused because I am no more ready to tolerate foolishness from our leaders as the nation sinks.. Igbos are in a quagmire today because since the 2nd tenure of Uwechue as President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in 2011, we have consistently taken foolish decisions that turned us into political orphans in Nigeria held bound by a mob of separatist murderers whose propagandist dispositions have defied the sensibilities of the international community.
Therefore, it is foolishness for northern elites to allow Ganduje to depose Sanusi, and I have alluded to the reasons in the first piece.

Plot to Oust Buhari: Vultures are Gathering over Murder of CAN Chairman

Written by Obinna Akukwe

Muhammadu Buhari became President of Nigeria at a time every elite in the north wants to rule Nigeria. Sule Lamido, Ahmed Makarfi, Olusola Saraki, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Ali Modu Sheriff and Atiku Abubakar amongst others.

All these men believe they are suitably qualified to succeed either Jonathan in 2015 or Buhari in 2019. They switched political parties, hijacked party organs, and blackmailed each other. While some lost out during party primaries like Atiku in 2015, Saraki , Kwankwaso, Tambuwal in 2019, others were kicked out by court fiat like Modu Sheriff. Some others including Makarfi and Sule Lamido were muscled out by ‘no vacancy in Aso Rock’ sycophants in 2015. While few like Atiku lost in the general elections.Image result for indimi lawan

These men, from my observations, had never hidden their disdain for Muhammadu Buhari whom they see as a ‘Senior Almajiri’ about to usurp their traditional right to power and influence.

Buhari’s ascendancy to power in 2015 was due to Ex-President Jonathan’s mishandling of the Boko Haram terrorism. Jonathan’s lame duck approach to the kidnap, torture, rape and murder of both Christians and Muslims hoping to use it for political advantage, was his greatest undoing.
