Shameless Sale Of Igbo Presidency: Senator Chukwumerije Begged Elders To Save Ohaneze

The shameless sale of Igbo presidency and Igbo interests by Ohaneze to the highest bidder has attracted the frank opprobrium of Senator Uche Chukwuerije. In a submission he sent to the Igbo Elders, South East Governors, and members of the 11 man committee set-up by the South East Governors on 27^th January towards resolving the Ohaneze  crisis,  Chukwumerije warned that as 2015 approaches, there will be more massive attempts to bribe the body .

 A copy of his submission was given to Rev Obinna Akukwe the  Director of Media of General Assembly of all Igbo Christian Organizations and Ministers (GAAICOM), and one of the initiations of the exclusive two year tenure extension granted to the late President of the body, Ambassador Raph Uwechue, the misuse of which has brought crisis to the body. This document, meant for the South East Governors, Elders and Clergy was made public in April 2013 by the authority of Igbo Bishops and Pastors under the aegis of GAAICOM and exclusive permission of Senator Chukwumerije. The Senator was also advised to also make it a public document for posterity purposes, which he later did.

Pastor Series 2: Chris Okotie – Apostolic incursion into Nigerian politics (Part 2)

Chris Okotie is the first cerebral pastor in Nigeria to make an apostolic incursion into Nigeria’s dirty presidential politics. In 2003 he contested under Justice Party, placing 8th out of 29 candidates with 119,547 votes. Okotie formed FRESH Democratic Party and used the FRESH platform to vie for the presidency of Nigeria in 2007 , netting in 74049 votes, coming 8th among 20 candidates.

Security report and some independent electoral observers believed that the actual figures of the elections shows that Okotie actually got up to a million votes in each occasion but the trio of Olusegun Obasanjo ( former president), Tony Anenih( political henchman) and Maurice Iwu ( electoral umpire) and their agents of votes manipulations were magnanimous enough to allow a percentage of his votes to count , in the infamous electoral system where votes are written in the houses of party chieftains while hapless voters optimistically embark on electoral merry go round in the polling stations. When Okotie failed to win the do or die electoral fraud, a lot of Pentecostal pastors derided him and asked him where his God was.

Tunde Bakare is among the most controversial gospel ministers in Nigeria-this man who goes by title of a pastor, is obviously, by calling, a prophet of church and national revival. Tunde Bakare, a former legal adviser in Deeper Life Church, later became a pastor in Pastor Adeboye's Redeemed Christian Church of God until he left under controversial circumstances. 

Bakare is not the type of prophets who sees visions of color of women's underwear and the bank details of his congregations in GTB, UBA or even Chase Manhattan Bank. His prophetic prediction is sometimes faulty due to poor analysis of pieces of spiritual information- even Apostle Peter misinterpreted the time of the coming of Jesus Christ; therefore, a prophet who is in a hurry to release information of global nature might misinterpret the vision. This is the problem with Bakare's prophesies.

There is a financial mathematical inclination to believe that about N142 billion dollars (N28.4 trillion naira) have been missing under NNPC and allied institutions since the inception of Jonathan administration in 2010 in the midst of national poverty. Who stole it and where is it kept. Nigerians must demand to know those who embezzled $142 billion dollars (N28 trillion naira) in five years or else there is no hope for the future generations. This is far above the S20 billion dollars revealed as missing under the former Governor of Central Bank Sanusi Lamido who was fired exposing monumental corruption in the high places.

The allegedly controversial letter written by second republic President of Nigeria, Alhaji Shehu Shagari had continued to cause scare within the political gladiators in the North West. Sources within the Presidency had given the Leadership of Igbo Mandate Congress (IMC) a copy of Shagari's alleged letter to the Presidential Candidate of the opposition party, General Muhammadu Buhari on the 12th of January, 2015, the day Igbo leaders under Ohanaeze sneaked into Aso Rock for the first batch of endorsement of Jonathan's re-election bid. However, efforts by IMC leaders in Sokoto to get Shagari's views on the circulating letter proved abortive as his aides pleaded that the old man be left off the hate filled Buhari-Jonathan campaigns. However, events at Shagari's 90th Birthday where he reportedly endorsed Jonathan in secret and the grumblings of APC members in Sokoto State who accuses him of working against Northern interests may have lent credence to the letter.

N5Billion Scam on Jonathan: Igbo Leaders Condemns Ohanaeze

Igbo leaders in the nineteen northern states of Nigeria have continued to condemn the manner the National Executive of Ohanaeze Ndigbo scammed President Goodluck Jonathan of N5 billion naira in return for second term endorsement. They have threatened to expose the successive culture of corruption and betrayal of Ndigbo for pecuniary gains that has made the national body a disgrace to the South East.

Speaking with the Director General of Igbo Mandate Congress (IMC) Rev Obinna Akukwe in Abuja yesterday, the President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Kaduna State Chapter who is also the President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in the 19 Northern States, Barrister A.C. Amechi described what Ohanaeze Ndigbo National Body did to President Jonathan as scam. According to him “ it is wickedness to scam an innocent man( Jonathan) of billions of naira , share it among yourselves and not remit a single kobo to any Ohanaeze Chapter in the North, yet you tell the man that all is in control among Igbos in the north” The obviously infuriated Igbo leader in the north stated further that “ for Jonathan to get sizeable votes in the north, he needs the mobilization of Ohanaeze Ndigbo who are the grassroots leaders and not these people sitting comfortably in the East and Abuja”  Barrister Amechi asked those who scammed the President to return back his money.

The richest oil blocks in Nigeria is owned by a few hundreds of persons while half of 160 million Nigerians live below S1 dollar daily. This injustice and wickedness must be corrected by whosoever wins the elections - whether Buhari, Jonathan, Interim Government, Boko Haram or civilian revolution.  It is unfortunate that President Jonathan failed to revoke these illegal licenses to few criminals during his first tenure. Ohanaeze Ndigbo met with Nigeria's President Goodluck Jonathan in Aso Villa on Wednesday and endorsed his plan for re-election in 2015. The meeting between President Jonathan and the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo was to assure the President that the people of the South East were behind his re-election plans. The meeting was also intended to assure the President that there is only one Ohanaeze leadership under Chief Gari Igariwey and that anybody purporting to be representing Ndigbo is an impostor.

A group, New Foundation of National Understanding (NFNM),which has retired military officer and activists amongst their fold, has called upon Nigeria's President Goodluck Jonathan to postpone the 2015 Presidential elections and prepare for war against agents that wants to invade Southern Nigeria using Boko Haram. 

The group alleged that there is a plot by some few disgruntled politician and religious extremists of northern extraction to extend the reign of terror of Boko Haram to the South East, South West and South West, causing disaffection among Igbos and Yorubas while Boko Haram takes over the entire South on a religious agenda. Lots of Igbo fools, including many top politicians, traditional rulers and other misguided elements jubilated when President Goodluck Jonathan was dragged by Ex Gov Peter Obi to belatedly commission an auctioned 419 2nd Niger Bridge that will be tolled for 25 years. This president while seeking for Igbo votes in 2010 promised to deliver the bridge before the end of his tenure. Five years later and a year to the expiration of the same tenure, they concocted a PPP arrangement to make the Igbs pay for the bridge through the back door.

I have written an earlier write-up titled 'Fraudulent Construction of 2nd Niger Bridge: Another 419 on the Igbo Nation', where I gave a hint that the thieves that concocted the financial criminality on the Igbo nation will recoup their investment within 4 years therewith exorbitant toll fees being planned, and the rest 21 years will be profits-and excess profits at the expense of the all wise Igbos. Since the piece was released, I have received far more facts which show that the N50 billion naira estimated as the inflated cost of the bridge is by far more costly. Under Obasanjo, the bridge was estimated to cost N54 billion naira (without the usual due process) and experts believe that with due process, the estimate would have reduced to N30 billion naira. It cost Yoruba man Fashola N29 billion naira to construct a l.3 km Lekki-Ikoyi suspension Bridge with adjoining roads while the 1.5 km 2nd Niger Bridge and 11 km adjoining roads will cost N117
billion naira. The difference is to be probably shared between some APGA chieftains, their PDP benefactors, and Julius Berger Consortium is just a smokescreen used to diver illicit gains.

The construction of 2nd Niger Bridge through a Public Private Partnership involving Julius Berger -NSIA Consortium and tolling the Igbo people for 25 years thereafter is another 419 on the Biafran Igbo citizens of South East Nigeria. According to the terms of this fraudulent business, the project is a Design, Finance, Build, Operate and Transfer (DFBOT) model to cost N117 Billion naira with the Federal Government contributing a paltry N30 billion naira while the consortium will raise the rest of the funds and thereafter hold the Igbo people to ransom by collecting a 25 year toll tax for raising the rest of the funds offshore.

President Jonathan speaking at the ground breaking ceremony at Onitsha in March 2014 said that “as part of our administration's Transformation Agenda in the road sector, we have set out to construct two very important new bridges, across our Nation's two great rivers – the River Niger and River Benue.These are the Loko-Oweto Bridge linking Nasarawa and Benue States,which is progressing satisfactorily, and this 2nd Niger Bridge, connecting Anambra and Delta States." It is worthy to note that the other bridges are being constructed by Jonathan regime without any PPP and without any toll tax on the people of Benue and Nasarrawa States.

President Jonathan had come again for Igbo votes ahead of the emergence of successful All Progressive Congress (APC) Primaries which picked General Muhammadu Buhari as flagbearer. With the emergence of Buhari as APC candidate,it is obvious that it is no more tea party for the PDP, and one of the places they are farming seriously is Ohanaeze Ndigbo as avenue for much cherished Igbo votes.

I want to use this opportunity to reproduce a text of the lecture I delivered at the burial of the former Ohanaeze Ndigbo President, Ambassador Ralph Uwechue, on the occasion of a colloquium held in his honour at Ohanaeze Ndigbo National Secretariat, Enugu on the 8th of May, 2014. Why US Gov’t Refused To Assist Nigeria With Technology To Fight Boko Haram

Nigeria's Ambassador to the United States, Prof Ade Adefuye suggested recently that the United States willingly refused to assist Nigeria with technology to fight Boko Haram. Adefuye told members of the Council on Foreign Relations on Monday that "The Nigerian leadership... are not satisfied with the scope, nature and content of the United States' support for us in our struggle against terrorists,".

He added further that "We find it difficult to understand how and why in spite of the US presence in Nigeria with their sophisticated military technology Boko Haram should be expanding and becoming more deadly,"
Since the Boko Haram insurgency started, I am personally aware, through reliable military and diplomatic sources that the United States had always availed Nigeria of list of those they suspect to be sponsors of Boko Haram. IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE United Nations House Bombings at Abuja in August 26th 2011, the US, alarmed by the sheer tactility of the operations, availed Nigeria's President Goodluck Jonathan of the list of the l sponsors of Boko Haram and was advised to act fast before they disintegrate Nigeria.

Fifteen (15) years of hearing that some mini skirted daughters of Jezebel have taken over your possession is not a joke. Fifteen years of a husband not staying with the wife for up to a week on a stretch, while spending time with some double breasted figure eight(ed) daughters of eve is not an easy thing to swallow. 15 years of being used as a showcase to make church members believe in Rhapsodies of Blissful Union, while dying in silence, is not a palatable experience for any woman.

Jonathan, Sambo, Ihejirika, El-Rufai Joint Sponsors Of Boko Haram

As far as I am concerned, Nigeria's leader, Goodluck Jonathan, his Vice Namadi Sambo, former Army Chief Azubuike Ihejirika and Former FCT Minister Nasir El Rufai are all joint sponsors of Boko Haram and one group cannot extricate itself from the mess Nigeria is facing. Others in this ignoble group include Bamanga Tukur (sacked ruling party chairman), Sambo Dasuki ( NSA), Retired IGP Abubakar and all the service chiefs who served since the former NSA Azazi revealed that Boko Haram sponsors are in the ruling party. Therefore, the attempt to hinge the sponsorship of Boko Hram on Ihejirika alone as though others are clean is as despicable as the attempt to pin Boko Haram sponsorship on Buhari.

I was the first writer to classify Boko Haram into three in a piece on PDP Boko Haram initially released on the 2nd of February 2012. In the said article I stated that “The Boko Haram as presently constituted has three wings. Nigeria's political leadership should act decisively in national interest before the Boko Haram terrorists storms Aso Rock , Nigeria;s seat of government, and creates security panic throughout the nation. In March 2014, daring Boko Haram detainees made attempts to seize the Yellow House, headquarters of Nigeria's secret police popularly known as the State Security Services (SSS), in a botched operation that suggested that one day Aso Rock, the residential and official fortress cold be attacked. The SSS is about 200 meters from toe first gate of the expansive Presidential Villa.

According to reports, it took the immediate recall of operatives living around Abuja and the quick intervention of soldiers from the Guards Brigade before about 22 detainees involved in the attempt were overpowered and killed. On that fateful Sunday the 30th of March military aircraft was seen hovering over the Villa and President Jonathan was said to have been evacuated.

The Boko Haram insurgents have finally chased away the predominantly Christian community of Gwoza and hoisted their black and white flag in the conquered territory. Succinctly put, they have captured the Christian community of Gwoza and declared it an Islamic state. This is just the beginning. There are reports that they are transferring most of their kidnapped wives, slaves, concubines and armories from Sambissa Forest to Gwoza. The Catholic Secretariat had issued a statement claiming that the male catholic faithfuls in the town are being beheaded by the murderers while their women are being raped and forced to marry the blood suckers. This is happening at a time when a Christian by name Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan is the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Boko Haram Republic of Gwoza is both a bad idea and a bad omen for Nigeria because the indigenes of Gwoza are not sympathetic to Boko Haram. Boko Haram Republic flags should be hoisted in territories where majority of the inhabitants are supporters of the insurgents, and definitely, Gwoza is not part of them. Currently, Boko Haram have declared Gwoza an Islamic Republic and that is very unfair to the predominantly Christian community.

Gwoza is among the communities and local government area in what is politically termed Southern Borno which has a majority Christian population with a minority mix of pagans, animists and Muslims. Such communities include Damboa (where Boko Haram had also taken over) and Chibok (where over 250 Chibok school girls were kidnapped and serially raped to death), Ngala ( where 480 soldiers fled from to Cameroun). Other such towns including Askira, Uba, Biu, Bayo, Shani, Kusar and Kwawu are mainly Christian communities yet they have no signs of development because successive regimes in Maidugeri have victimized them on account of their Christian heritage, dating to between 80-102 years.
